摘要
简述行动研究的内容;通过部分国内外的研究和项目,证明行动研究对培养教师反思能力的重要性及其在中国的可操作性;给出了具有可操作意义的假定意见。
Today, English teacher education in China, as in many developing countries, faces two major challenges: first of all to attract well--qualified candidates, and secondly to provide them with a curriculum which will prepare them as autonomous, analytical, and critical teachers capable of carrying out classroom teaching and research, and of managing their own professional development. And also it is the responsibility of not only the relevant authorities but also all the front-line teachers to address the first of these challenges so as to raise the official recognition. Although action research has a long history in the West, it is a new Category in China. There is a long way to go before action research is fully accepted as a legitimate discipline. In this essay, a brief introduction of action research will be given; some studies and projects will be shown to prove that action research is crucial on teacher reflection and can be operable in Chinese context. Accordingly, some rather brief assumed blue prints will be suggested to meet the Chinese context.
