摘要
新历史主义历史观设定历史并非为过去发生史实的真实性记录,述史者的主观个人偏见会影响对过去的再现,所谓历史文本不过是权力的"谎言"。历史是人类用来记录族群共同记忆的符号文本,有着符号共同的通性,可以用来说谎。把历史符号还原到符号表意通讯行为过程中去考察,它的非真实来源有:主体间性是不诚之基;符号语境导致编解码不一;而符号表意固有的复杂性是内部诱因;符号的中介与渠道也会影响到符解的真值。符号学揭示了历史记忆的谎言功能,为理解新历史主义历史观打开了一条新的渠道。
New historicism sets a new conception of history which considers history not a real recording of the past historical facts.Because the historical recorder's subjective prejudice would impact the representation of the past,the so called historical text is nothing more than the lies of power.The history is a kind of sign text to note the racial common memories by the mankind,and has a generality with other signs that can be used to lie.We observe and study the source of authenticity by putting the historical sign into the course of signification and communication,find several reasons.The inter-subjectivity is the basis of incredibility,the sign contexts devote to nonconformity between encoding and decoding.While inherent complexity of signification is an instinct factor.The medium and channel will also exert impact upon the truth value of decoding.Semiotics reveal the lying function of the historical memories,and open us a new approach to understanding the new conception of history.
