摘要
作为20世纪60年代美国新左派社会运动在史学领域的反映,新左派史学与前者在指导理论上有共同的渊源。在对美国新左派史学家的学术影响方面,哲学家赫伯特·马尔库塞、社会学家查尔斯·赖特·米尔斯和历史学家威廉·阿普曼·威廉斯可以称得上是最重要的人物,正是他们分别从哲学、社会学和史学三个不同的领域为美国新左派史学家们提供了社会批判和历史研究的全新视角和理论武器。
On the whole,as American New Left History was closely related to the New Left Movement in 1960＇s,the guiding theory of the latter might be regarded as the important theoretic resources of the former.Theory pioneers of American New Left History chiefly comprise the following three aspects：the critical theory of ＂one-dimensional society＂ by Herbert Marcuse,American social criticism of Charles W.Mills and William A.Williams＇critical thoughts of American diplomatic policy.They provided the new visualangle and theoretical weapon of social criticism and historical research for American new left historians from three fields：philosophy,sociology and history.
