综述了汽车行业应用铝、镁合金的情况，介绍了主要的合金种类、零部件和制造工艺，分析了汽车行业应用轻合金的发展趋势和前景。
Abstract The applications of Al, Mg light alloys to automotive industry are reviewed. The major types of alloys, automobile parts and manufacturing processes are introduced. Also the tendency for the development and futrure applications of light alloys are discussed.
