Based on a scientific research item of the Ministry of Railway,a kind of practical Gateway is developped successfully.The paper discusses the routing method of the Gateway.At first,it illustrates different routingprotocols secondly,discusses the algorithm,shortcoming,and improved measure of Routing Information Protoeol(RIP).Finally,the paper introduces the implementation of RIP.
