摘要
晚清以来,在女弹词职业实践中,两性关系得以重塑,具有江南地方特色的消费文化得以彰显。女弹词作为江南消费文化的象征符号,导致时人娱乐消费方式从"访"到"捧"的改变。消费过程中,时人对女弹词进行品评,主要围绕"色与艺"展开。晚清文人对妓女弹词的品评,多关注妓女的身份特征,一定程度上丰富了妓女文化。民国报人则通过报刊这种大众媒介,修正、重构、生产以及论斥女弹词的形象,以满足不同读者的娱乐需要。女弹词与听客的亲密互动,把普通的生产消费关系重新定义为性别关系,招致政府、传统行会组织的取缔与规范。
Since the late Qing Dynasty, women have played their roles in the professional practice of storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect,resulting in the reconstruction of then gender relations and new features of consumer culture typical of areas south of the Yangtze River. As symbols of consumer culture in the areas, actresses involved in this form of art performance have changed the entertainment consumption pattern from "visiting" to "boosting". In this process, people would appreciate and assess both "female beauty" and "art performance" of the actresses. In the late Qing Dynasty, the assessments made by literary men are mainly about the identity of prostitutes as actresses, which enriched prostitute culture to some extent. During the Republic of China, correspondents corrected, reconstruct and produced the images of actresses in this profession via the media to cater to different tastes of different readers. The intimate interactions between actresses and the audience redefined the consumer relations as gender relations, which incurred the ban and standardization from the government and traditional guilds and organizations.
