This paper attempts to analyze how the U.S. interfere in Cambodia's independence and neutrality during the period of the Vietnam War, which eventually ended up in the support of a military coup against Sihanouk' s power and to demonstrate how Prince Norodom Sihanouk straggled for maitaining Cambodia's independent and neutral status in the context d international Cold War and the Vietnam War. It tries to explain that a small power cannot easily evade the international impacts or interference, especially at a time of big powers' confrontation.
