摘要
叹词是一种形象、生动的语言表达形式。汉、英叹词除了在构词形态上具有很大的相似性外,还表现出一词多义、一义多词、书写不规范等类似的特点。在汉语叹词英译时应根据叹词出现的上下文语境,把握说话者的语气和身份,采用直译、意译或音译的方法,准确而生动地再现原文的特点。
Interjection is a kind of vivid linguistic expression. The Chinese and English interjections exhibit a lot of common features, such as homonyms, homographs and irregular spellings. To translate the Chinese interjections correctly and idio matically, we should take the context and the speaker＇ s intonation and role into consideration, and use the strategies of literal translation, free translation or even transliteration.
