摘要
脱胎于生产工具的变革和娱乐方式的延展,球类文化在以竞技哲学为核心的古代西方体育文化图景的边缘艰难地演进。简陋的用具设施、松散的组织形式与朴素的思想内涵形成了古代西方球类文化的结构性特质。强健身心、娱乐休闲、社会教化与军事训练表征了古代西方球类文化的功能性属性。集体行为与个人主义的悖离、休闲诉求与竞争精神的偏差、欺骗谋略与公平伦理的相左是球类文化难以融入古代西方主流体育文化的深层原因。
Be born out of both producing implements＇ revolution and entertaining patterns＇ extension, culture of ball games had hard evolved at the edge of landscape of ancient western sports culture which focused on athletics philosophy. Structural characters of ball games culture are consisted of crude facilities and instruments, loose organization style and simple ideology. Functional characters of ball games culture are conveyed by cultivating sound body and soul, making entertainment and leisure, enlightening the people and consolidating military training. Because of contradictions between collectivism and individualism, deviations between recreation pursuing and competitive spirit, variances between game tricks and fair ethics, the culture of ball games had been difficult to merge into mainstream culture of ancient western sport.
