The Effects of the Gating System Design on Solidification of Thin Walled Plate Castings Under Countergravity Condition

摘要 采用底注式浇注系统模拟反重力铸造条件,通过实浇测温法,研究了不同浇注系统浇注时薄壁平板铸件的凝固规律。发现内浇口的形状和尺寸对铸件凝固过程中的温度分布及铸件品质影响很大。实验结果可为正确制定反重力铸造薄壁件的工艺规范提供参考,也可作为计算机数值模拟反重力铸造薄壁件凝固过程的验证依据。 The bottom gating system is used to simulate counter-gravity condition to investigate the response of solidification of thin walled plate casting to the variation of gating systems by the method of temperature measurement. It is found that the shape and size of ingate of thin walled plate casting have a tremendous influence on the temperature field during solidification and its quality. The experimental results obtained could be very useful in laying down technological rules of operation of thin walled casting under counter-gravity condition in practice and examining the results of numerical simulation.
