摘要
在波分复用(WDM)光传输系统中,自相位调制(SPM)、交叉相位调制(XPM)等非线性效应严重影响系统的传输性能.在考虑系统群速度色散的情况下,利用光通信仿真软件OptiSystem对信道间隔为0.8 nm的4×10,8×10,16×10,32×10 Gb/s的四种WDM系统中自相位调制(SPM)、交叉相位调制(XPM)等非线性效应对传输系统的影响进行了仿真,分析了影响WDM传输性能的自相位调制(SPM)和交叉相位调制(XPM),并讨论了波分复用(WDM)系统的入纤功率对自相位调制(SPM)的影响,结果表明与交叉相位调制(XPM)相比自相位调制(SPM)对系统传输性能的影响较大,适当选择波分复用(WDM)系统的入纤功率可以提高系统性能.
The system performance can be severely impaired after transmission by self-phase modulation (SPM) and cross-phase modulation (XPM) effects in wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) optical transmission systems. The transmitting characters of 4 ×10, 8 ×10, 16 ×10, 32 ×10 Gb/s WDM optical transmission systems with 0.8 nm channel interval are simulated using optical communication system simulation software OptiSystem. The effects of SPM and XPM are analyzed in WDM system and the effects of launch power to SPM are studied. The simulation results demonstrate that, SPM plays a major role of performance in WDM communication system and it can effectively reduce its impact when an appropriate launch power of WDM is used in the transmission system.
