摘要
对控制西瓜短蔓性状的4个不同基因位点的短蔓基因dw-1、dw-2、dw-3、dw-4(拟)的发现以及它们所具有的不同特性、形态特征、优缺点和应用前景进行了简要的描述和评价。
This article describes 4 mutant genes, dw- 1, dw-2, dw-3 and dw-4 （proposed）, that confer dwarf characteristic in watermelon. This article particularly describes the discovery, phenotypic characteristics and genetics of the watermelon dwarf genes. This article also reviews the advantage and deficiency of the mutants,as well as the utilization of the dwarf mutant genes in watermelon.
