摘要
通过研究中医典籍翻译中的翻译理论与实践以及语言学理论,探讨翻译理论如何影响翻译过程.就语言学理论和中医典籍翻译过程进行阐述:典籍英译中适当应用的翻译类型;国外一些有创新精神的语言学理论及元翻译理论在对中医典籍翻译时的启示语言学理论与元翻译理论的关系.目的是揭示元翻译理论缺乏语言学理论的局限性,引出更多国外理论家对中医典籍英译更有效的翻译实践理论.
By focusing on the points of praxis between theories and practice of translation and the contemporaneous linguistic theories existing in the translation of Chinese Medicine classics, this study demonstrates how notions of translation theories influence processes and practices of translation. In exploring the connections between linguistic theories and their interpretation about processes of translations, three threads are traced as they weave：types of translation are properly used in classics; insights on translation theories influencing Chinese Medicine to be selectively interpreted by some of the most innovative theorists in this field abroad-Vinay and Darbelnet, Jakobson, Nida and Taber, Cafford, House, and finally Baker. ; the symbiotic relationship of meta translation theories and disciplines of linguistic inquiry. It aims at explaining how limitations of meta translation theories fail in theories of linguistics and theorists abroad with attempt to bring more efficient practical translation theories of Chinese Medicine classics, etc. , under discussion.
