お series of VPO/SiO2 catalysts were prepared using a simple method under mild conditions, and their performance was evaluated for selective oxidation of nbutane to maleic anhydride. The results indicated that these catalysts exhibit good catalytic activities. The highest selectivity to maleic anhydride of 56.6% was obtained at 320℃ reaction temperature. The effects of P/V ratio on the catalytic performance were also investigated, with the increase of the P/V ratio from 0.9 to 1.5, the selectivity to maleic anhydride was increased from 17.0% to 46.6%.
