摘要
传统史学最为显著的特点是重视"致用",它是传统史学发展的动力所在。传统史学丰富的"致用"思想主要体现在以史为鉴、以史资政、彰善瘅恶、歌功颂德和以史蓄德等方面。传统史学丰富的"致用"思想,对于传统历史编纂学的发展有着重要影响,它具体表现在对于史书体裁的创立、发展和对于史书直书、褒贬书法的运用两个方面。
The remarkable feature of traditional historical study is the stress on serving practical purposes, which is the motive power for the development of the study. The profound thought is mainly embodied in learning from history, retelling historical events as a mirror for government, praising goodness and criticizing wickedness, eulogizing virtues and achievements, enriching the moral system, etc. The profound thought has greatly impacted the development of historiography. The impact can be found in the creation and development of the literary form - historical book, and the writing styles, such as , recording historical events as they were, making comments on historical figures.
