摘要
听力是综合语言运用能力的有机组成部分，高考英语试卷中应该有这方面的考查内容。然而，令人遗憾的是，因为各种各样的原因，听力部分没有能够在我国启用的各套高考英语试卷中出现。本文中，作者从试卷涉及的角度，对这方面的情况进行了简单的介绍和分析；之后，基于对《考试说明》和若干年来高考英语试卷的分析，解析了高考英语听力考查长期以来遵循的基本原则，归纳了听力材料选择方面的一些基本要求和试题命制方面的一些特点。
As a necessity of the communicative language ability, the skill of listening should be tested in the National Matriculation English Test （NMET）. Unfortunately, it is still not a compulsory part of all sets of NMET paper. The reason is explained and the possible solution is provided in the paper. And then, based on the study of the Test Syllabus and the test paper released in the recent years, the author draws some inferences about the principles that are followed in developing test items for the listening section in the perspective of test design.
