摘要
与其它真核生物相比,高等植物线粒体基因组不仅在大小,组织结构.基因组成和表达,RNA编辑等方面具有突出特点,而且线粒体基因组与核基因组之间存在着广泛的信息交流线粒体基因组作为一个半自主性的遗传系统,其组织结构的雏持和生理功能的发挥受到核基因组的调控作用,本文就这些方面的研究进展作了简要评述.
The mitochondrial genomes of higher plants differ from their other eukaryotic counterparts inseveral striking features, such as their structure , organization , gene content, RNA editing and extensive genetransfer to the nucleus. As a send-independent genetic system, the structure and function of higher plantmitochondrial genomes are regulated by the nucleus. The interesting features mentioned cbove of higher plantmitochondrial genomes are reviewed in this paper.
