摘要
本文首次将博物馆界所面临的古籍修复工作极其薄弱这一存在已久的问题提出,分析了其所以形成的客观原因;并着重从古籍所具有的“历史文物性”的角度、从古籍数遭厄运之历史及其现状,论述了加强修复工作的重要性和迫切性,以及应亟需解决的首要问题;最后,对我国传统的古籍修复技术得以流传至今的内在因素进行了探讨,用实例证明其“科学性”与“艺术性”的内涵是其生命力的所在。
This article puts first a long-standing problem that the restoration of ancient books has been an extremely weak link in museum work.After analysing the objective causes of this problem, it discusses the importance and urgency for strengthening the work from both aspects 'the nature of historical relics' and the historical and present conditions of ancient books and, at the same time, raises the first important questions awaiting solution. Lastly,the author makes an approach to the internal factors why our traditional technology of restoration of ancient books has been handed down from ancient times, and holds that the connotation of scientific and artistic natures of the technology is where its vitality lies.
