摘要
本文介绍了用于设计基于知识的技术系统故障诊断专家系统的新方法——属性文法。论述了属性文法适合于构造故障诊断专家系统的几个要素:1)属性文法可以同时处理说明性知识和过程性知识;2)属性文法能解释推理过程中“如何”(HOW)与“为什么”(WHY)类型的问题;3)属性文法支持非确定和非精确推理,并给出一构造实例。
This paper illustrates a new tool-attribute grammar (AG) used in the design of knowledge-based technical system diagnostic tool. Some aspects that make attribute grammar suitable for constructing a diagnostic tool are:
1) AG can handle declarative and procedural knowledge simultaneously,
2) AG can explain the 'HOW' and 'WHY' type requests during the reasoning process, and
3) AG has the ability to support imprecise and uncertain inferences. A practical instance is given.
