The Trends of Information Technology in Higher Education in the Context of Globalization: The Strategies for Cyber-Culture Building and Sharing among AEARU Members

摘要高等教育信息化如何向纵深发展?本文首先通过4个相互联系的典型案例,揭示了在信息化与全球化两大潮流共同冲击下,世界高等教育内外结构正在发生深层变革的新趋势;接着深入剖析了网络文化对大学校园文化带来的正反两方面影响及其时代根源;最后从8个方面提出了在东亚研究型大学之间创建数字化快速通道,从IT主管部门之间跨时空、深层次的交流与合作入手,在网络文化的共建共享中推动大学教学、科研、管理等方面的战略合作,提高东亚研究型大学在世界高等教育领域的影响力与竞争实力。 The sustainable development of information technology in higher education is a big challenge after its rapid progress during the past years. In this article, the author explores the trends of higher education change and development through four correlated cases in the context of information technology and globalization, and analyzes the impact of information technology on campus culture and its underlying roots. In the end, the author argues that more efforts should be done to establish the digital pipeline among AEARU members, facilitate collaborations among university CIOs, enhance the strategic alliance among universities on teaching, research and management through cyber culture building, and improve the influence and competitiveness of AEARU.
