摘要
鉴于我国学界对"族群"一词的理解歧义颇多,中央民族大学"民族学人类学理论与方法研究中心"举行了以"族群、民族:概念的互补还是颠覆"为题的讨论会,围绕着"族群"与民族概念的关系,以及它对于既有民族理论的意涵等问题进行了广泛深入的讨论,形成不同观点,充分反映了当前我国学界在族群、民族理论上的争论焦点以及未来走向。
Because Chinese scholars have different understandings of ＂ethnic group＂, the Center of Ethnological and Anthropological Theories and Methods of/he Central University for Nationalities held a symposium on the differences and similarities between ＂ ethnic group＂ and ethnos, their relations and theoretical implications. Though controversial ideas still remain, this symposium reflects well the focus and orientation in this field in China.
