摘要
为贯彻教育部关于进一步深化本科教学改革的精神，大胆创新人才培养模式和方法，上海外国语大学于2007年9月创办了旨在培养具有多种外语能力的国际公务员实验班。本文阐述了创办实验班的重要性，介绍了实验班的培养方案和课程设置，探讨了国际型外语人才培养模式对高校外语教学和管理提出的挑战。
To further promote the reform of education and innovate on the talent-training model and methodology, a competence-based, international service-oriented foreign language programme has been established in Shanghai International Studies University. This paper elaborates on the curriculum development of the experimental class and discusses the challenges it may bring to the teaching of foreign languages in Chinese universities.
