摘要 木棉纤维是热带木棉的果实纤维,具有中空、壁薄、拒水吸油等特点而被用于被褥、枕头絮填料、浮力及吸油材料等,而在造纸领域的应用研究未见报道。本研究对木棉纤维的化学成分及结构进行了测定和表征,对木棉纤维的打浆性能进行了初步研究。研究表明,木棉纤维的硝酸-乙醇纤维素、Klason木素、戊聚糖含量分别为43.73%、11.36%、37.43%;光学显微镜和扫描电镜(SEM)研究显示木棉纤维表面光滑、壁薄中空、壁/腔比很小;X射线衍射测定木棉纤维的结晶度为31.29%。槽式打浆对木棉纤维主要起切断作用,用PFI磨磨浆11000转后,木棉纤维浆料的打浆度由17°SR提高到26°SR。 The kapok fibers, which are the fruit fibers of kapok tree originated in tropical India and Southeast Asia, are currently utilized as packing materials for pillows and soft toys, buoyant materials, and oil absorbent due to its thin cell wall, large lumen, low density and hydro- phobic properties. But the research works on its application in papermaking has seldom been reported. Therefore the chemical and structural characteristics of kapok fibers and its heating performance were studied in this paper. The results showed that the kapok fibers' composition includes cellulose (43.73% nitric acid-ethanol cellulose), Klason lignin ( 11.36% ) and pentosan (37.43%). Optical microscopy and SEM observation found that kapok fiber has a thin cell wall, hollow lumen and smooth surface. X-ray diffraction indicated that the crystallini- ty of kapok fiber is 31.29%. Kapok fibers are mainly cut short but seldom fibrillated when beating with Valley beater and its beating degree increases from 17°SR to 26°SR after the refining with PFI mill for 11000 revolutions.
