摘要
                
                    推导并分析了不同类型信号交叉口的左转车流比例对通行能力的影响公式,采用仿真方法分析了左转车流比例对路网容量和平均行程车速的影响.研究结果指出,信号交叉口通行能力具有车道规模不经济效应,因此,在相同交通需求和道路设施供应量的前提下,适当增加路网密度可以提高路网运行效率.
                
                This study first formulates the mathematical formula between the capacity of intersection and its left-turn flow proportion to show the trend of capacity decreasing by increasing left-turn flow. Results show that signalized intersection experiences a deficiency of scale as the streets gets larger, and an analysis is made of the impact of left turn flow proportion on urban road network efficiency on the basis of a simulation model. Finally, the paper presents some proposals on improving the efficiency of the urban road network.
