摘要
美国农业合作推广是对赠地学院制度的重要补充，被称为“农村继续教育的先导”。作为世界上最大的成人教育组织，它加速了美国实现农业现代化的进程。在其独特的历史与文化背景影响下，农业合作推广运动呈现出鲜明的特色：中心-边缘模式的组织网络；演示为核心的多样推广方式；满足农民实际需要的服务宗旨。其对我国农村成人教育的发展以及特色农业现代化建设有着重大的现实意义。
American agricultural cooperation popularization movement is important complement for Donation Land College System, which is called as ＂forerunner of rural further education＂. As the biggest adult education organization in the world, it had accelerated the modernization process of agriculture in America. Under the influence of unique historical and cultural background, agricultural cooperation popularization movement manifest bright characteristics： the organization network of core-margin model; various popular- ization modes that demonstration as the core; the serving tenet that try to meet peasants＂ realistic demand, which have significant meaning for the development of rural adult education and the construction of characteristic rural modernization in China.
