Grammatical Metaphor in Learning Language for Science

摘要 系统功能语法的迅速发展为隐喻的研究提供了新的视角,尤其是语法隐喻理论的提出丰富了传统的隐喻理论。语法隐喻广泛存在于科技语篇中,具有组织概念系统、重构经验、衔接和展开语篇等功能。本文分析语法隐喻在科技语篇中的应用,并探索其在科技语言学习中的意义。 The rapid development of Systematic Functional Grammar has shedded new light on the study of metaphor. The theory of grammatical metaphor has enriched traditional metaphor theory. Grammatical metaphor is an indispensable part of language for science and it plays an important part in organizing conceptual systems, resha- ping human experience and the framing of discourses. This paper attempts to analyze the use of grammatical metaphor in language for science and explore its significance in learning language for science .
