摘要
比较分析了李白《静夜思》的五种译文,尝试探讨汉诗英译的真谛。汉诗英译不应是亦步亦趁地复制和模仿原诗,而是在充分理解原诗内容的基础上,将原诗的韵致、意象和情愫跃然纸上,以求译诗像诗。
Based on comparative analyses of 5 English versions of Li Bai＇ s Still Night Thoughts, this paper attempts to make an intensive study of C-E poetry translation and discuss two methods here. One is to faithfully reproduce the form and meaning of the original while the other is to convey its beauty, image and innermost feelings as much as possible on the basis of fully understanding the original, with the conclusion that a translated poem should be like one with the original flavor.
