摘要
"西方语言哲学课程"是广东外语外贸大学语言学与应用语言学研究中心博士研究生的必修课程。本文通过对西方哲学的语言性转向和西方语言哲学家的大智慧两方面进行阐述,说明这门课程不仅能够开阔视野,开启智慧,还能增强我们做开拓性研究的信心。因此,它是一门非常好的创新思维训练的课程。笔者认为西哲课不仅应该成为我们广外博士生的第一门课程,而且应该成为全国所有的外语界硕士生、博士生的第一门必修课。只有这样,我国外语届才会培养出更多的创新人才。
Western Philosophy of Language is a compulsory course for the Ph.D. students at the National Key Research Center for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies （GDUFS）. This paper mainly discusses the linguistic turn in philosophy of the West and the great wisdom sparkling in the philosophers of language, which means that this course can not only broaden the students＇ horizons and enlighten their mind, but also strengthen their confidence to do original research. It is also a good course for the training of creative thinking. Therefore, the author thinks that Philosophy of Language should not only be the first course for the Ph.D. and M.A. students at GDUFS, but for all Ph.D. and M.A. students in the field of foreign language studies in China so that more creative researchers can be trained and produced.
