摘要
以Ⅱ等高铝矾土碎矿(≤3mm)和煤矸石碎矿(≤3mm)为原料,按照矾土基莫来石熟料叫(Al2O3):68%~72%的要求,将它们按一定比例混合配制成混合料,接着将混合料湿磨至0.044mm以均化化学成分,经湿法挤泥成型、烘干后分别在1550℃、1600℃和1700℃煅烧6h,冷却后测定其显气孔率和体积密度以确定烧结温度。工业生产实践表明:制备矾土基莫来石料适宜的烧成温度约为1600℃,所得莫来石料的成分均匀、结构均匀、性能稳定。它们的显气孔率≤1.5%、体积密度≥2.81g·cm^-2、荷重软化开始温度为1610~1650℃。与实验室结果相比,其烧成温度降低约100cC,且体积密度提高0.06g·cm^-2以上(实验室≥2.75g·cm^-3)。这初步验证了采用本工艺制备矾土基莫来石料的工业可行性。
Bauxite based mullite was prepared with grade II bioken bauxite (3 mm ) and broken coal gangue (3 mm) as starting material according to formula w(Al2O3) =68% N72% in bauxite based mullite grogs. Milling these mixture to particle size ≤0.044 mm by wet milling to homogenize chemical composition. After shaping by wet extrusion, drying, the materials were fired at 1 550℃, 1 600 ℃ and 1 700 ℃ for 6 hours respectively. After cooling, apparent porosity and bulk density of fired materials were determined. The in- dustrial production practice shows that. The appropriate sintering temperature for bauxite-based mullite with homogenized compositions and microstructure and consistent properties is 1 600 ℃, at which the mullite has apparent porosity of 1.5%, bulk density ≥2.81 g · cm^-3 ,and refractoriness-under-load 1 610 - 1 650℃ . Compared with the laboratory results, its sintering temperature is lowered by about 100 ℃, bulk density is increased by 0.06 g · cm^ -3. This confirms the industrial feasibility of preparing bauxite based mullite materials with the processing.
