Three-dimensional simulation of high frequency characteristics of multi-beam traveling wave tubes

摘要 文章利用CST-MWS和MAFIA 2种软件对多注行波管慢波系统进行了较全面地模拟分析,其中包括建立多注行波管慢波结构模型,得到其电场分布图并计算了腔体品质因数。同时模拟计算了多注行波管慢波系统色散特性和耦合阻抗,得到了相移-频率曲线和耦合阻抗曲线,与理论分析相比,高频特性的三维软件模拟结果较好。 The high frequency characteristics including slow-wave circuits, the electric field distribution, the quality factor, frequency-phase dispersion and interaction impedance of multi-beam traveling wave tubes have been simulated using the three-dimensional simulation software packages CST-MWS and MAFIA. The simulation results are compared with the theoretical data, and the errors are very slight. Three-dimensional simulation of high frequency characteristics can offer an effective means for the design and testing of multi-beam traveling wave tubes.
