Stainless steel polishing: technique design and choice for abrasive tool

摘要 选用两种PVA砂轮,在MM7125精密卧轴矩台平面磨床上对1Cr18Ni9不锈钢进行机械抛光,采用单因素与多因素实验法相结合进行了大量的磨削试验。对抛光机理进行了详尽的分析研究,并解释了用碳化硅砂轮抛光时产生烧伤的原因,获得了较优的抛光工艺参数。认为采用W20WA PVA砂轮,选取15 m/min的工件速度、0.015 mm^0.02 mm的径向进给量和36m/s的砂轮速度时抛光效果最好,不会产生烧伤,并且抛光效率较高。制定出了较为合理、可用于生产实际的行之有效的抛光工艺参数。 Using two kinds of PVA wheels,W20 WA and 320^#GC,1Cr18Ni9 stainless steel was mechanically polished on MM7125 horizontal axis precision surface grinding machine. A large number of grinding tests using single factor and multiple factor method were conducted. A detailed analysis was made on polishing mechanism in order to obtain the optimum process parameters. The reason of burning cafised during the use of SiC polishing wheel was explained. The best parameters with no burn and more efficient effect are: W20 WA PVA wheel, speed of workpiece 15 m/min, radial feed 0. 015 mm - 0.02 mm, and wheel speed 36 m/s. These are reasonable and effective process parameters that are suggested for stainless steel polishing.
