摘要
以Channel镶座S形戒指设计为例,介绍了Rhinoceros软件在珠宝首饰设计中的应用。Rhinoceros的NURBS技术提供了很高的精确度和适应性,可以完成富有创新意识的、复杂的设计作品。还可以建立3D模型、显示客户的效果图,并且能够发送设计数据原型到CAM系统中进行精密加工。可以通过使用Flamingo渲染器来向客户展示更具逼真感的设计。
Taking the design of Channel inlay S shape finger ring as an example, the modeling process with NURBS technique of Rhinoceros is illustrated. The 3D model is sent to CAM system for precise machining and Flamingo Renderer is used to show its illumination effects.
