摘要
活性污泥法是采用最普遍的污水处理工艺，而由丝状菌引起的污泥膨胀则是该工艺污水处理中最易发生、危害最大的问题。简要地介绍了污泥膨胀的特点、危害和防止与控制的方法；并对国内外关于污泥膨胀的研究进行了初步地分析；最后对该研究课题的进展方向提出了某些意见。
Ac tivated sludgc system that is readily suffered from bulking sludge, which caused by the excessive growth of filamentous is a serious problem,has ranked as the most widely used biological process . The characteristics, the harm, as well as methods of prevent and control of bulking sludge are briefly des- cribed. The studies at home and abroad on bulking sludge are also analysed. At last, the author gives some opinions on the advace development and trendency of the study on bulking sludge.
