The aim of China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station (CRSGS) is to receive, process, file, distribute satellite remote sensing data, and to serve remote sensing applications both at home and abroad. CRSGS is the sole operational system in China's Mainland and is an important member of the international network of earth observation satellite ground stations. The footprints of CRSGS cover 80% of the land of China's Mainland. It can provide satellite remote sensing data from Landsat TM, JERS-1, ERS-1 SAR, ERS-2 SAR, Radarsat-1 and SPOT.
