摘要
为避免强电磁脉冲EMP(electromagneticpulse)的瞬间电场对军用和民用设施产生很大的破坏,准确测量EMP的高速变化的电场,从而利用铌酸锂(LiNbO3)晶体的电光效应,采用横向运行方式,研制成电压、电场传感器。以理论分析和计算作定性估计,指导调整光学器件;巧妙利用机械加工的精确度保证传感器上光学器件的相对定位和准直;用实验调整进行定量研究。利用纳秒脉冲电压发生器(MFD-1)产生的方波电压,对此传感器性能进行了测试,测试结果表明:传感器上升时间小于5ns(波形有一点过冲)和7ns(波形无过冲);测量误差在5%左右。
The transient electric field of highly intense electromagnetic pulse (EMP) will seriously damage the military and civil installations, so it is significantly important to measure such electric field with nanosecond risetime. In this paper a sensor of electric voltage and electric field was developed by employing electro optical effect of LiNbO 3 crystal with transversal modulation. The interrelated optical axises of the components were adjusted on the basis of the theoretical analysis and calculations. The collimation of optical components of the sensor was kept by machining. The characteristics of the sensor were tested by using nanosecond voltage generator (MFD 1). The results show that the risetime of the sensor is less than 5 ns (waveform with little over shot) and 7 ns (waveform without overshot), the measurement error is appraximately 5%.
