The history,characteristics and enlightenment of American urbanization

摘要美国的城市化始于1690年,随后经历了酝酿期、初步完成期、郊区化时期三个发展阶段,每个时期都具有鲜明的特征,即内生的自我发展性、跳越性、流动性;总结了美国城市化的一般规律及其对我国城市化的启示。 The American urbanization started from 1690, and then has experienced three stages, that is, abuliding, accomplishing and suburbanization. Each stage has its own property of endogenesis, paroxysmal and liquidity. This paper summarizes general rules of the American urbanization and puts forward its enlightenment to Chinese urbanization.
