摘要
从分析视觉系统的对比度敏感函数(CSF)和整数小波变换的原理出发,根据CSF对不同空间频率的敏感度不同,用CSF掩模度量图像小波分解系数的视觉重要性,因此,SPHIT算法可以把小波变换得到那些人眼较为敏感的区域的系数提前编码输出,使得解码后的图像既具有良好的视觉效果,且由于新的算法内存需求量少,使得编码速度得到较大提高。
This paper presents Contrast Sensitive Function (CSF) of HVS and integer wavelet transform used in the SPIHT algorithm. CSF masking weights the wavelet coefficients according to the CSF - a model of humans'sensitivity to spatial frequency. This mask gives the most perceptible information the highest priority in SPIHT algorithm. The subjective visual effect of reconstructed image acquires improvement to a certain extent. And because memory requirement is reduced significantly, the coding procedure of new algorithm is faster than before.
