摘要
地藏信仰与地藏图像是佛教思想与佛教美术研究的重要内容,敦煌画中有初唐至宋、西夏时期的地藏图像约140幅,本文主要对中唐以后敦煌地藏图像进行考察。
The belief in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the iconography of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva are the key link not only in the study of Chinese Buddhist ideological inclination but study of Buddhist art as well. Beginning from the Early-Tang dynasty till the Song Dynasty and The West Xia Dynasty,there are more than 140 pieces of paintings of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva either on the wall or on paper or silk found in Dunhuang.This article tries to making a careful study of iconography of Ksitigarbha Bodhi- sattva found in Dunhuang,especially on the long historic period after the Mid-Tang Dynasty by a way of combining pictorial art include both murals and paintings on paper or silk with a textual research,in order to demonstrate a general picture of The belief of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in Dunhuang.
