摘要
菲律宾私立高等教育的认证制度出现于二战后,它虽以美国为蓝本,但经过半个多世纪的发展与完善,形成了自己的显著特点:认证机构的民间性和相对独立性,认证指标体系的相对完整性,认证制度的实施得到政府的鼓励与支持。菲律宾私立高等教育认证制度,对于我国发展民办高等教育,有着有益的启示。
The accreditation system of private higher education in the Philippines did not appear until World War Ⅱ. Although it took American accreditation system as a model, with development and improvement in over 50 years, it has formed its distinctive features as follows: voluntariness and relative independency, relative integrality of accreditation criteria system, government's encouragement and support, etc. It is suggested that the Pilipino accreditation system can be used as a useful reference for China' s development of private higher education.
