摘要
中医学是传统的系统生物医学,只有在系统层面上研究传统中医药,才能更为合理地使之得到继承、阐释与发扬。本文阐述了项目组开展的“中医药计算系统生物学”研究内容,发现基于生物网络及其调控,可以较为有效地理解中医证候宏观与微观特征、方剂多靶点整合调节作用等重要问题,表明中医药计算系统生物学可望成为符合中医特色,又与当今科学前沿协调发展的中医药现代研究方法。
Only through the view of the system can one understand the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), an ancient medical system. Using the approach of computational system biology ( CSB), author has created a method, named TCMCSB, to understand the methodologies used by TCM. As a novel research method, TCMCSB is designed to shift the strategy of substance - function to the one focusing on relation - function, creating a new path from information integration to systems modeling. Following the roadmap of "Interaction→Network→Function", a case study is presented here to address the relationship between the Cold ZHENG and Hot ZHENG, and associated herbal formulas, in an effort to demonstrate the appiications of TCMCSB. It is found that one is in a position to interpret the scientific basis of both ZHENG and associated herbal treatments, when the method of TCBCSB is used. Author concludes that TCMCSB is a method suitable for TCM research.
