摘要
                
                    目的:观察三七总皂苷(PNS)对家兔实验性动脉粥样硬化(AS)形成过程中血清总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)水平、丙二醛(MDA)水平、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性的作用及AS斑块形成面积大小的影响。方法:将日本大耳兔随机分为空白对照组、AS模型组、PNS低剂量组及PNS高剂量组,各组喂饲不同饲料,PNS高、低剂量组同时灌胃给予相应药物,1次.d-1,连续给药12wk。分别于实验前及第12周末经耳缘静脉采血,测定血清中TG、TC、LDL-C、MDA水平及SOD活性。结果:AS模型组血清中TG、TC、LDL-C水平均显著高于空白对照组(P<0.01)及PNS高剂量组(P<0.01);PNS高剂量组血清中MDA水平及主动脉斑块面积明显低于AS模型组(P<0.01),而其SOD活性明显高于AS模型组(P<0.01)。结论:三七总皂苷可以通过调节脂类代谢、抗氧自由基等途径发挥预防AS的作用。
                
                OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of PNS on experimental atheroselerosis in rabbits, including the serum levels of TG, TC, LDL -C,level of MDA, activity of SOD and plaque area. METHODS: White Japanese rabbits were divided into normal control group, AS model group, low dose PNS group and high dose PNS group. Administration was for 12 consecutive weeks. The serum levels of TG, TC, LDL - C, MDA and activity of SOD were determined before experiment and at the end of the 12th week, respectively. RESULTS: The serum levels of TG, TC and LDL - C in AS model group were significantly higher than that in control group (P 〈 0.01). The serum levels of TC, TG and LDL - C in high dose PNS group were obviously reduced than that in AS model group (P〈0.01). Compared to AS group, the serum level of MDA in high dose PNS group was lower (P 〈 0.01) and the activity of SOD was higher (P 〈 0.01). Plaque area of rabbit aorta in high dose PNS group was obviously lower than that in AS group(P 〈 0.01).CONCLUSION: PNS produced a marked preventive effect on atherosclerosis by way of modulating lipid metabolism, anti - oxygen free radical and so on.
