一种基于NDMP的块级备份/恢复方法及其实现 被引量:2

摘要 随着数据重要性的日益提升,数据保护显得尤为重要,而业务的全球化又使得备份窗口逐渐缩短,如何快速有效地对数据进行备份成为数据保护领域亟待解决的关键问题之一。该文对业界广泛使用的文件级备份协议NDMP进行了扩展,提出并实现了基于NDMP的块级备份和恢复方法。与文件级备份相比,块级备份在备份性能和空间利用率上都得到了很大的提高。文章还提出了数据融合和数据抽取技术,此技术可以获得更高的块级恢复性能。 With the steady increasing of data importance, data protection becomes vital to maintain business continuity. But globalization causes the backup window shrunk sharply. How to backup data efficiently and effectively is one of the most urgent questions today. This paper presents a NDMP-based block-level backup and recovery method, which can significantly decrease backup time and storage cost, compared with traditional file system backup method. It also presents data-merge and data-extract techniques to improve block level recovery performance.
