基于声光可调谐滤波器监测WDM系统工作波长的新方法

A Novel Wavelength Monitoring Method Based on AOTF in WDM Fiber System

摘要 利用集成声光可调谐滤波器(AOTF)的滤波特性,设计了一种监测光通讯波分复用(WDM)系统波长漂移的新方案,分析了其工作原理,并对方案的可行性进行了实验研究.结果表明,这种方案能够用于整个S,C和L波段的WDM系统工作波长的监测,精度可达到0.027 nm,可分辨的最小信道间隔可达到0.5 nm. By using the filtering characteristics of acousto optic tunable filter (AOTF),a novel scheme of wavelength monitoring in WDM optical communication systems is presented. The principle of this scheme is analyzed and its feasibility is inspected with experiments. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that it can be applied in S, C-and L-band wavelength monitoring in WDM systems,and the wavelength accuracy can reach 0. 027 nm, the minimum resolvable channel spacing can reach 0.5 nm.
