摘要
农村高等教育从层次方面讲是传统意义上的“高等教育”,而具体教育内容特别是涉及具体某项农业生产技术或乡镇企业生产技能可以是“中等教育”。发展农村高等教育主要是解决21世纪农村社会经济可持续发展的问题,重点应是为农村社会转型服务。推进农村高等教育发展的关键是要建立主体——县(市)农村社区发展学院。
The paper deals with the definitions of rural area＂ and ＂rural higher education＂ and the comparison and analysis of them. To solve the problem of the sustainable development of the rural economic society in the 21st century, the point is to serve for the transition of the rural society. The paper also touches upon the current situation of the ＂rural higher education＂ and the problems existed within. The key to the development of the ＂rural higher education＂ is to establish principal bases rural community colleges of counties＇ （cities＇）.
