摘要
由于班簋不知何时何地出土,长期以来,学者对班簋及虢城公其人所属时代的考释颇有争议。本文以为班簋应为穆王时器,虢城公又称虢城公遣,应生活在昭王之世乃至穆王初年。毛公更服之城应在东虢,亦即郑地之虢,虢城公是东虢之君,而非西虢之君。
Owing to the uncertainty of BanGui being unearthed, there have been lots of debates on the existence age of BanGui and the Duck of Guo-State from all scholars since long time ago. The article engages in textual research that BanGui should be existed in the period of Mu-King in Zhou Dynasty and Duck of Guo-State, also named as Duck dispatched to Guo-State, should live from the period of Zhao-King to the early period of Mu-King in Zhou Dynasty. Because Mao Duck should have been promoted in the East-Guo-State （ Xinzheng County now） instead of West-Guo-State （ Sanmenxia City now ）, the Duck of Guo-State should be the duck of East-Guo-State.
