摘要
柏拉图在其晚期作品《政治家篇》中引用了一个关于编织的生活事例。他通过类比逐步阐明了政治家编织国家之网必须坚持“中”的原则,在方式上,既有个人的德性编织,又有国家的整体编织;在实现途径上,既要依靠对个人的德性教化,又要借助于国家的政治安排,而和谐是政治家行为的最终目标。
Plato quoted an example about the art of weaving in his late works Statesman. By analogy he made it clear that statesmen must adhere to the principle of moderation. For the way of weaving there were two modes ： one is individually weaving, the other is overall weaving. In order to realize it the statesman have to rely on moral enlightenment and political energy. Harmony is the highest aim for statesman.
