Participation in International Organization:A Comparative Study

摘要当今国际社会的一个重要特点是数以万计的国际组织对人类发展的各领域都产生着重要影响,如果没有相关国际组织的参与,任何区域或全球性问题都很难获得圆满的解决。各国对国际组织的参与情况以及在参与过程中所扮演的角色,已成为其综合国力的重要体现。通过比较分析发现,各国参与国际组织的程度存在较大的差异;各国在一些重要国际组织中地位的差异决定了各国权力的不均衡性。 An important characteristic of international society today is that there exist thousands of international organizations in varied areas that have exerted a great and all-round influence on mankind.No regional or global issue can be resolved successfully without the involvement of international organizations.The ability of a country to participate in international organizations has become an important component of national comprehensive power.By conducting a comparative study on the rate of participation in different types of international organizations,the author analyzes the different abilities of countries to participate in major international organizations and concludes that there is a pyramid power structure in some international organizations.
