A Study of Channel Estimation Methods for OFDM Systems

摘要 分析了现有实用OFDM系统的信道估计方法及其硬件结构,并根据信道的统计特征给出了一种改进的门限滤波方法与其对应的硬件结构。在提高性能的同时,这种方法复杂度并不高,且不需要任何已知的信道统计特性。通过实验验证,这种新方法(尤其是二维的方法)明显优于传统的基于FFT的方法和最小二乘方法。 In this paper, the practical channel estimation methods and their respective hardware structures for OFDM systems are analyzed. An improved method is proposed as well as its hardware structures. The new method stems from the statistic properties of the channel impulse response and requires no prior information about the channel. With a modest complexity increase, simulation results show that the proposed method greatly outperforms the previous methods.
