摘要
本文从消费社会的文化语境入手,在理论与实证两个层面,对当前中国文学的时尚化倾向的表现形态、成因、价值意义及存在的问题进行了分析阐发。认为当前中国虽然在总体上还处在生产社会阶段,但已具备了消费社会的诸多特征,由此形成的消费文化环境,构成了文学时尚化的社会文化语境。个人叙事的非道德化、人性想象的极端化和线性叙事的瓦解,是文学时尚化最重要的审美特征。评价文学时尚化倾向,既不能放弃审美维度,也不能忽略文学作为一种文化消费的商品维度。时尚与非时尚作品各有其存在的合理性与局限性,只有以变化的眼光审视,才能准确、科学地评判当下消费文化语境中文学的时尚化现象。
The author studies the expressions, causes, values and existence of “fashionization” in contemporary Chinese literature, at the level of both practice and theory, and from the perspective of the cultural context in a consumption society. China shows characteristics of a consumption society even though it is now at the stage of a production society. The environment of consumption culture thus produced constitutes the socio-cultural context for the fashionization of literature. The demoralization of individual narratives, extreme expressions of human nature, and the collapse of linear narrative are important aesthetic features of a fashionized literature. When we look at the fashionizing tendency of contemporary literature, we should miss neither its aesthetic dimension nor its dimension as a commodity for cultural consumption. Both fashionable and non-fashionable works of literature have their existential rationale and limitations. Only when seen through the eyes of change can we make correct and scientific judgments about the fashionization of literature in the current context of consumption culture.
