摘要
采用悬浮聚合法制备了聚(苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸烷基酯)高吸油树脂,考察了甲基丙烯酸烷基酯种类、单体配比、引发剂用量、交联剂用量和分散剂用量对高吸油树脂吸油率的影响。实验结果表明,当m(甲基丙烯酸十二酯)∶m(苯乙烯)=4∶3、引发剂过氧化二苯甲酰用量(占单体混和物的质量分数)为0.8%、交联剂二乙烯基苯用量(占单体混和物的质量分数)为0.8%、分散剂聚乙烯醇用量(占单体混和物的质量分数)为3%时,所合成的聚(苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸十二酯)高吸油树脂对甲苯和三氯甲烷的吸油率分别为13.9,24.6g/g。并用傅里叶变换红外光谱、扫描电镜、热重和示差扫描量热法对高吸油树脂的结构和性能进行了表征。表征结果显示,制得的产物为苯乙烯与甲基丙烯酸烷基酯的共聚物,其使用温度可达130℃。
Cross-linked styrene-methacrylate highly oil absorptive resin was synthesized by suspension polymerization. The influences of alkyl methacrylate type, mass ratio of monomers, initiator dosage, crosslinking agent dosage, disperser dosage on resin properties were investigated. Suitable process conditions were: mass ratio of dodecyl methacrylate to styrene 4 : 3, initiator benzoyl peroxide 0.8% (mass fraction in monomer mixture ), crosslinker divinylbenzene 0. 8% (mass fraction in monomer mixture ), disperser polyvinyl alcohol 3% (mass fraction in monomer mixture ), and oil absorptive power of obtained resin is about 13.9 g/g for methylbenzene and 24.6 g/g for chloroform. Structure and properties of the resin were investigated by means of IR, SEM,TG and DSC. FrIR and SEM determinations show that the resin is styrene-dodecyl methacrylate copolymer. TG and DSC measurements show that the resin can be used at 130℃.
